Role Designation: VP HR
Job Description :
Reporting into the Founder you will be responsible for :
- Managing the end to end HR function for the plant) based out of Silvassa
- Bringing forth innovative HR practices in the day to day functioning of the plant
- Managing the career planning and development plans for a staff span of more than 400 people +1000 contractual workers
- Be the interface between the employees and the management with focus on helping solve work related problems, interpreting policies
- Identifying the training needs of existing employees and conducting need based training
- Managing retention of employees, employee morale and commitment
- Team : 4 people reporting to this position
The Successful Applicant :
As a successful candidate you should have :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as HR generalist in manufacturing sector. This is not an IR role. Candidate should have a good understanding of HR systems, HR operations, performance management, appraisals and handling the end to end employee lifecycle
- Experience in managing industrial relations, union negotiations etc is not necessary for this role-
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Quick learner and a high energy individual
