Our client is currently looking for a dynamic individual to take on the role of Plant Finance Head for three units with Pharma Industry. Qualification : CA/ Cost Accountant Work Experience : Min 10 years in relevant role Description : - Lead and oversee financial and accounting functions related to manufacturing, encompassing cost, capital, payroll, and inventory, for a manufacturing plant. Actively participate in the development and establishment of strategic functional goals and initiatives for the plant. - Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting across cost performance, inventory control, general accounting processes, and payroll. Direct all activities related to general ledger accounting, including account maintenance and monthly reconciliations. Ensure proper classification and preparation of reports in accordance with both US GAAP and Indian GAAP. - Maintain compliance with SOX requirements, updating documentation as needed. Manage Indirect Taxes such as Central Excise, Sales Tax, VAT, ensuring adherence to compliance standards. Control functional costs at the plant and identify areas for cost-saving opportunities in collaboration with operations leadership. - Establish systems and techniques for monitoring various overheads, achieving optimal cost control in operations. Annually calculate and release the standard cost of products. Exercise control over capital expenditure requests at the plant, overseeing capitalization. - Supervise the accurate and timely release of Management Information Systems (MIS). Proactively offer consultation, interpretation, and education on complex financial and operational matters to departmental leaders, contributing to informed business decisions. - Oversee the planning process to optimize inventory and reduce distressed inventory, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to manufacturing finance management. - P&L Management - Operational Finance with a focus on Costing - Efficient management of Capex & Opex - Expertise in Capital Budgeting, including ROI calculations. - Formulation and execution of Budget to Expense Management - Proficiency in both US GAAP and Indian GAAP If you're ready for a challenging role that involves comprehensive financial management across multiple facets, we want to hear from you!
