Key responsibilities : 1. This role is a mix of planning and Logistics. The person would be responsible for network planning and logistics. 2. Work with Inventory Planning team, Category, Business finance, supply chain execution, transportation, Retail Operations in liasioning & executing the business programs. 3. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, and supply chain processes. 4. Vendor Development: Manage vendor activities and maintain both new and existing vendor relationships. Identify suitable vendors, negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices for products and services, and ensure that vendors fulfil their contractual obligations. 5. Directing, optimizing and coordinating the full order cycle. 6. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers. 7. Strategically plan and manage logistics and customer services. 8. Communicating with key stakeholders involved in the project including external and government agencies. 9. Keeping up to date with planning regulations, policy and legislation. 10. Advice the business on planning policy and regulation, ensuring that compliance is met. 11. Independently managing the entire planning and logistic activities 12. Overseeing business to consumer activities. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS : 1. MBA pass outs with 10-12 years with experience 2. Bachelor's degree preferably in business 3. Functional experience in Supply Chain / Inventory Management, Demand Planning in the ecommerce, Retail / Consumer space. CORE COMPETENCIES : Functional : 1. Good understanding of supply chain processes and inventory planning principles. (Familiarity in E-commerce is added advantage). 2. Sourcing experience in Fabrics, plastic, accessories. Especially sustainable materials from countries like China, Bangladesh, Vietnam. 3. Should be very analytical and be able to justify decisions and approaches with data. 4. Should be able to take a complex problem and break it down into smaller digestible chunks.
