The digital marketing role is all about demonstrating a combination of creativity in thought and strong operational program management to deliver traction and engagement through all digital channels including SEO, SEM, Email/SMS/Whatsapp marketing, Social Media, Push Notifications etc.
In a way you are the face for key target groups including students, parents and educators! This role is for you if you are a great communicator, an idea person and understand social media platform nuances to maximize reach and engagement.
Your responsibilities and scope of work would include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Understand the overall business and company objectives
- Spearhead organic traffic growth, content marketing + social media strategy
- Spearhead product communication and user education for one of the most advanced ed-tech products in the world
- Constantly tracking metrics like funnel conversion rates, bounce and exit rates and identifying reasons for the same - contributing valuable insights to product
- Managing the online brand and product campaigns to raise awareness and engagement
- Improving the usability, design, content and landing page effectiveness
- Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing
- Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data
What we are looking for:
We love if you have the hunger to learn, passion to perform and carry the following skills:
- Experience of 8+ years managing tech businesses - SEO, Social media, affiliate/mobile, email/SMS marketing (including build and design) and agency handling
- Strong track record of building organic and social traffic through high quality content
- Strong operations experience in managing teams and delivering on targets set
- Experience of managing CMS and Wordpress
- Excellent understanding of analytics tools including Google analytics, Heap, KISS metrics, Flurry, AWR Cloud, Buzz Sumo and Web Trends
- Strong understanding of current online marketing techniques, strategy and best practices
