Our client is industrial powerhouse with a dominant presence in steel, power, mining and infrastructure, It is a leading Indian conglomerate that aims to strengthen the future of the nation and works towards building a better world.

Our client is currently hiring a Head of Performance Management System for Angul location. The Head of Performance Management Systems at Angul location will be responsible for designing performance management strategy and total rewards philosophy to attract and retain talent. They set out performance review cycles and key performance indicators. They will be involved in implementing compensation and benefits policies, and the overall set of benefits offered to the employee and design strategies to incorporate Skills Frameworks into the performance management framework and total rewards philosophy of the organisation.

Position Reports to CHRO

Main Responsibilities for the Head of Performance Management System.

- Plan and implement a comprehensive performance management strategy across all service lines aligned with the firm's business objectives and growth.

- Plan and execute all the milestones in the performance management cycle.

- Benchmark locally, regionally, and globally on the best practices in performance management and update the processes and policies accordingly.

- Review Performance management policies on yearly basis and if required upon request by the executive committee.

- Develop and update guidelines around the performance milestones and the annual appraisal process.

- Provide strategic advice and guidance on the performance management framework to all stakeholders.

- Contribute to the automation of the Performance Management System in collaboration with HRIS and IT teams.

- Provide support to line managers in applying the Performance Management System should they face challenges with the implementation.

- Resolve problems related to appraisals, such as employee requests for re-evaluation, and ensure that these issues are handled in a fair, professional, transparent and equitable way

- Train staff at all levels on the performance framework and the behavioural skills/ soft skills as well as various engagement and coaching techniques.

Key Requirements

- Should have strong experience in a leadership role within Learning & Development.

- Education: MBA in HR full-time from a reputed institution.

- Should have deep exposure in terms of appraisals system, performance life cycle of employees

- Good in analytics/ excel and should have worked on increment/ salary hike cycles, C&B survey and budgeting.

- Experience of minimum 15 years in similar sector/ manufacturing industry/ industrial companies.

- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
