Job Responsibilities : People : - Monitor and review the Company's employment process to ensure its deliverables meet the Company's goals and business objectives. - Develops and administers various human resources plan and procedures for all company personnel. - Plans, organizes and controls activities of the department. - Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. - Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors. - Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts; designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs. - Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. - Implements and annually updates the compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys and develops merit pool (salary budget); analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary. - Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program and cash flow. - As required, research and implement new methods of sourcing candidates, controlling recruitment costs and increasing diversity and awareness. - As required, develop the attraction strategy covering national and specialist press and online sourcing and monitor closely the results of this to help plan any future campaigns. - Train, coach and support supervisors with this process ensuring that they are trained in interviewing techniques. - Keep up to date with current employment legislation and ensuring that supervisors are effectively briefed on any relevant changes. - Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars. Maintains organizational charts and employee directory. - Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. - Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. - Ensures compliance with all federal, state and international employment laws. Talent : - Guide and influence senior management on strategic Talent Acquisition issues across multiple functions/locations. - Ensure continuity and consistency of candidate acquisition strategy, company culture, and recruiting best-practices - Set the strategic direction for the development and evolution of the Talent Acquisition methodology and best practices to achieve staffing goals in the short and long term - Provide leadership to direct reports and builds a highly capable team through the attraction, training and development of the necessary skilled professionals to meet business needs. - Serve as the key relationship manager of external third party vendors. - Oversee establishment and evolution of the employment brand in labor markets around the world in partnership with Corporate Affairs. - Design and/or implement programs in accordance with company-wide staffing needs. - Partner with other talent managers and Business Partners to deliver customized programs and services to the business. - Create and drive diverse talent pipeline programs Skills : - An ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders and to manage on-going working relationships and work plans - Excellent presentation, interpersonal skills and administration skills - Communication skills - ability to present ideas clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences. - Excellent problem solving skills in interpersonal situations both internally and external to the organization - Possesses well developed active listening skill and critical thinking skills. - Demonstrate a high level of customer satisfaction. - Demonstrate ability to handle extremely challenging, difficult and volatile situation / individuals effectively. - Critical Evaluation. - Global & Cultural Awareness. - People & Talent Expertise. - Leadership & Navigation. - Ethical Practice.
