Role Intent
Client is a family run organization with a 56% employee engagement score on Kincentric Surveys aiming to setup the Talent Management practices from scratch. This role requires someone with experience in setting up various practices professionally such as Talent acquisition, Onboarding & Integration, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management & Workforce Planning. In 3 years from now, we aim to acquire a Great Place to Work Certification.
Role Location - Maroli, around 45 minutes driving distance from Surat, Gujarat
Reports to - Chief Transformation Officer
Team Size - Individual Contributor Role
Deliverables
- Overseeing sourcing, interviewing and hiring processes for ensuring that our company attracts and selects high-performing employees
- Building succession plans
- Developing coaching and mentoring sessions for employees
- Providing guidance to team members for their development
- Performing compensation and benefits benchmark analyses
- Calculating employees- engagement metrics (e.g. turnover rates, retention rates etc.)
- Organizing annual and quarterly sessions for the purpose of reviewing performance
- Defining the responsibilities of each position by creating organizational charts
- Conducting skills gap analyses for the purpose of determining personnel needs
- Boosting the morale of employees by implementing bonuses on the basis of performance
- Designing policies for employees- promotion
- Discussing career-pathing options with talented and high-potential employees
Core Performance Metric - Great Place to Work certification within 3 years
Non-negotiable Characteristics :
- Must have done Talent Management for at least 10 years in an organization
- Must have worked in a MNC or an Indian corporation known for its people practices
- Must have established best-in-class talent management practices
- Must have passion for building people policies, procedures and systems
- Must have participated in building a - Great Place to Work- or something similar
- Must have sufficient self-awareness needed to build a people-centric organization
Education - No particular degrees needed. OD background/understanding will be helpful.
