To head payroll and insurance department all GST related activities for Accounts Payables and accounts receivables with policy adherence and monitor /support the accounts payable team and accounts receivables into Leasing vertical with the view of taking care of tax compliances.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Payroll Management

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. Implement and maintain payroll best practices and compliance with relevant regulations. Handle payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.

2. Insurance Administration

- Manage the company's insurance programs, including health, life, and disability insurance. Collaborate with insurance providers to negotiate terms and ensure cost-effective coverage. Process insurance claims and provide support to employees in understanding their coverage.

3. Compliance and Reporting

- Stay updated on payroll and insurance regulations to ensure compliance. Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities. Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

4. Employee Communication

- Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll and insurance-related matters. Conduct workshops or training sessions to educate employees on benefits and policies.

5. Payroll Vendor Management

- Liaise with payroll service providers and insurance vendors. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize services and costs.

Role Expectations:

1. Payroll reports to whom - Finance or HR, since you have asked for CA, likely it is under Finance, yet need that clarification. - This will report to Head - Taxation & Payroll, rolls into the CFO function

2. Is this Payroll handling only for Leasing vertical, or whole of group. Scope of payroll is for how many employees. - The scope for 27k - 29 k onroll employees

3. Is operational part of payroll is outsourced, since we have mentioned vendor management. - The payroll function payout part is outsourced

4. Is he only required to handle payroll, compliance and related areas. To get a CA doing only this role is slightly challenging, are we open on qualification front. - The role encompasses payroll and insurance related activities. Kindly focus on MBA HR or MBA in Finance who have experience in this role

5. Level of the position, compensation, reports to, team members if any. Also if you can share the name of the outgoing incumbent, will help. - Level would be Asst. Vice President. As of now there is 1 team member.
