Designation: Head - Operations (Wovens Fabric)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Partner with business and plant heads and support the development of the production plan for the Wovens business, based on the sales pipeline and procurement schedule, periodically review and monitor actual production schedule to ensure adherence to production mandates and deliver on customer commitments

- Ensure that the quality of the product manufactured is as per customer and international quality standards through the establishment and review of total quality management systems for testing the quality of yarn and grey fabric, for the Wovens Fabric business

- Ensure resource optimization in terms of financial resources, manpower, infrastructure, raw material procurement and facilities to support production of the cutting & sewing department of the Wovens business

- Drive efforts to ensure adherence to social compliance, technical compliance and audit norms across the plants

- Build an in-depth understanding of the impact of various macro-economic, geopolitical and environmental factors on raw material and final product pricing, continuously scan the environment to gather intelligence on industry trends, competitor information and disseminate information to the sales and procurement teams

- Support the implementation of systems to automate MIS reporting, and ensure seamless operations of the system to enable efficient and accurate data management

- Facilitate the reconciliation of accounts receivables for the Wovens business in collaboration with business head to ensure receipts are as per the organizations prescribed guidelines, support the effective management of cash flows and accurately report financials to the senior management on a regular basis

- Prepare and review reports to analyse projections of payments and receipts against actual figures and suggest methods of improving the planning process as appropriate; ensure compliance with the specified financial norms and fix gaps within planned timelines

- Provide thought leadership and direction to Alok Industries including building organization culture, establishing measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business goals, handling performance appraisals of subordinates, playing an active role in hiring and developing subordinates and providing suggestions for superior employee experience and retention of critical employees across the Wovens Operations Team.
