Key Responsibilities:
- Manage resources, workforce, and facilities to ensure smooth day-to-day deliverables from the operational system and process
- Manage teams, ensure overall governance from processing, training and learning & development requirements
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration and consistently meet company goals for improvement
- Build and manage a high-functioning team, Streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands
- Identify risks and issues in business processes & systems, and ensure adequate training is planned and executed for the new hires and new processes as needed
- Establish culture of continuous process improvements, identifying opportunities for improving quality and controls, and improving both efficiency and effectiveness
- Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments. Use professional concepts in developing resolution to moderately complex issues
- Establish and maintain constructive working relationship and keep stakeholders (internal and external) informed of progress or status, addressing the underlying needs and providing solutions
- Ensure compliance with the data governance policies, standards and operational procedures
Requirements:
Work experience:
- Minimum 15 yrs. as a Credit Operations Manager in Banking / NBFC / Financial Services mandatory, with 2+ years in a leadership role
- Experience in US Mortgage/Money Lending process is a must
- Deep understanding of unsecured lending, comfortable with data, analytics with the ability to present expected metrics, results to stakeholders
- Strong persuasion/client management skills
- Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success
- Adapts easily to change
