Head - Operations/Supply Chain Management - D2C

We are hiring for "Head of Operations - SCM" with a fastest growing D2C based in Mumbai. Please find below mentioned job description:

Position - Head of Operations - SCM ( Pan India )

Location - Mumbai

Experience - 7 to 15 years

Detailed roles and responsibilities:

- Ensuring effective stock planning at various warehouses including with e-commerce platforms to ensure high fulfilment rate and other metrics, in collaboration with Planning team

- Implementing the best-in-class processes and solutions to manage warehousing and order processing smoothly and effectively across multiple channels

- Being in-charge of the overall customer experience with regards to order delivery performance

- Ensure targeted Order Fulfilment and Logistics performance across captive and third-party service providers

- Drive continuous process improvements to reduce operational costs on fulfilment and logistics

- Review overall business planning periodically to finalise operational budgets and improve profitability

- Building relevant teams and lead/ coach them

- Ensure that the warehouse operations runs with legality and conformity to established regulations and compliances

- Ensure high inventory accuracy at all warehouses (minimal shrinkages) and monthly inventory / financial reconciliation

Requirements

- MBA (Operations) with 7-10 years of experience managing supply chain operations in a product company

- Thorough understanding of warehouse/ logistics processes and systems

- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operations metrics

- Experience in managing Digital First businesses with high B2C orders is a plus

- Knowledge of various compliances and guidelines at the warehouse

- Eye for detail and diligence in working

- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities

- Outstanding communication and people skills
