Job Position - Head - Manufacturing Operations/ Production Head

Experience - 15 to 20 Yrs

Location - Vapi

Industry Experience - Must be from Plastic Injection Moulded Industry

Job Responsibilities:

- Contribute to development and implementation of a strategic plan to promote revenue, profitability and growth of the company

- Demonstrate expertise in implementing & sustaining manufacturing operations best practices such as ISO/LEAN, Six Sigma, ERP, Quality systems, Energy management etc.

- Demonstrate experience of benchmarking & deploying relevant manufacturing process technologies

- Have working knowledge of labour laws, labour management, factory compliance requirements & CSR

- Give suggestions and advise management for making key changes in planning of various issues and business decisions related to production.

- Strategically plan the activities of various departments and discuss it with heads of every department.

- Keep an eye on the quality control of various activities with regards to product manufacturing, etc.

- Conduct regular meetings and sessions to make all department heads ensure that works are completed as per the priorities of the set tasks.

- Ensure all works and activities comply with legal methods, general duty care and management.

- Act as mediator for conflict resolution among various departments.

- Set and assign operational goals for departments. Reward each department as a team after the targets are achieved.

- Demonstrate competence in handling team building activities and motivating the teams to give quality performance.

Competency Requirement:

- Techno commercial background. Knowledge of plastics

- Ability to understand market requirements & market fluctuations

- Excellent communication skills with ability to present to top management.

- Proven leadership skills and ability to drive sales team

- Good interpersonal skills & relationship management

- Ability to take initiative & appropriate decisions.

- Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of metrics

- Good problem solving, interpersonal communication and project management skills

- Desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.
