You'll work closely with VPs and global stakeholders to strategize and grow the business to manage larger volume at quick turnaround time with ability to scale and meet seasonal demands of the entertainment industry. Preferred skills and qualification: - Masters in Business Administration or relevant experience in Media and Entertainment Industry. - Over 15 years' experience in managing large and volatile business with proven track record. - Previous experience in a challenging and dynamic business, where projects at scale and speed were handled. - Excellent communication and oratory skill, with a love for English language. - Proven ability to think outside the box and innovate, technically savvy and willing to implement new processes to meet rapidly changing business needs. - Knowledge of Tableau, Six Sigma, AI/ML related technology is an advantage. Roles and responsibilities: - Grow the 24/7 English subtitling team to manage different types of work coming through the team, allowing the team to fully scale and work on end-to-end English subtitle creation keeping the highest security and quality standards in mind. - Build the team structure, grow, and coach managers and leads with the goal to reduce time taken from when the order comes in to when the subtitles / captions are finalized. - Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks. - Work closely with human resources to lead the team with integrity, uphold company policies and processes, and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment for all. - Work closely with global stakeholders and peers in other locations to drive a unified English subtitling team for the organization along with driving key projects with them. - Own and expand the external freelance model, along with a structured vendor/partner approach to manage capacity in peak seasons. Work with global teams on capacity planning and pipeline management to consistently deliver 100% on time. - To own the organization's Quality program for Subtitling and captioning and build quality into day-to-day operations and processes. - Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans for the team. - Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis, use of technology and automation, and increased interdepartmental collaboration within the value chain. - Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands. - Ability to focus on content security and participate in security and quality audits as needed.
