Job Description - Our client is looking for a Head of operations, for their central operations centre based out of Hyderabad. The candidate will be leading the booking ops, distribution ops and financial ops teams for this health insurance business, ensuring smooth and best in class operations.

Our client is one of the top financial services companies in India, and have established themselves as one of the leading players in the capital markets and insurance space. As part of their growth strategy, they are now setting up a new age health insurance company, which will be spun off from their general insurance business.

Description

Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for:

1 Initiating projects to bring efficiency in operation through technology, innovation and cost management

2 Introducing and implementing best practices, increasing quality of support services

3 Ensuring effective and efficient processing within TAT as per quality and compliance standards set by the organisation

4 Interacting closely with internal teams and other stakeholders and aligning deliveries accordingly

5 Working closely with technology team to drive efficiency and building consistency in processes

6 Regular review and updation of operations procedure, daily checklist and SLA

Profile

You will be a qualified CA/MBA with a green belt/black belt in operations, minimum 12+ years of post-qualification experience and over 5 years in insurance operations. You should also have significant experience in managing central operations at a leadership level, with sound knowledge of the various aspects of booking ops, distribution ops and financial ops.

Good liaisoning skills, strong analytical skills and a result oriented outlook are the qualities that will differentiate the successful candidate.
