Head - Operations - Heat Exchangers

Our Client is engaged in Design, Engineering, Manufacture, Supply, Installation and commissioning of Modular Skid Packages & Engineering, Procurement & Construction of Oil Field Surface Facilities, Early Production Facilities, Gas Compressor Station & Oil/Gas Pipelines catering to various process industrial sectors including Oil and Gas (Up-stream, Mid-Stream, Down-Stream), Petrochemicals & Power.

1. Position : Head of Operations - Heat Exchangers

2. Job Role : The incumbent will be responsible for entire Plant Operations (Production & Planning & Control), Review of quarterly/Half yearly plan in line with delivery dates and material receipt dates to ascertain timely completion of equipment's and identify threats if any. Review of Shop load and Contractor load to identify reallocation if any Plan and manage job allocation to contractor. Identify resource and capital requirement for financial year. Review of engineering drawing for identifying manufacturing related criticalities and or improvements by possible design changes. Daily manufacturing meeting to plan resource utilization with regards to machine and manpower Ensure safety and housekeeping in all shops. Ensure zero rework by detailing criticalities in every equipment. Coordination with marketing, purchase, design, projects, welding Eng., production, etc. in trouble shooting activities in respect of shop quality problems arising out of rejection, rework, deviations, etc. Co-Ordination with QC for arranging third party inspectors. Ensure implementation of improved process and procedures. Organize client audits and approvals. Implementation of Quality system.

Engineering

- Delivery of effective and precise engineering output for bidding.

- Engineering output for manufacturing to ensure smooth production.

- Implementation of new technology and Efficiency improvements.

- Monitoring the proceedings wrt. Annual Business Plan.

- Planning of shop resources, Making weekly & Daily work allocation sheet and monitoring.

- Up keeping the plant machinery.

- Subcontractor exploration, evaluation, and development.

- Managing overall operations for executing Mechanical Construction Projects within cost & time norms.

- Supply chain Management

- Tracking and monitoring of materials from vendor to Client,

- Inventory management.

- Administration

- Tracking and monitoring of all statutory requirements.

- Resource management by recruitment and training.

- Fulfilling HSE requirements.

Qualification : B.E or B.Tech either Mechanical or Chemical
