We have one good opportunity for Head of Operations with our FMCG client dealing in Personal Care & Home Care segments Job Location : Bangladesh Position would be responsible for procurement , manufacturing , logistics & NPD rollouts and report to Country Head Bangladesh & Cluster Head Manufacturing Qualification required : Graduation or Post Graduation in Engineering with MBA qualification/ Supply Chain preferably . Job Responsibilities : Manufacturing : - To achieve production targets as per planned schedule with continuous improvement in productivity, quality, skills and cost reduction and to maximize existing sales by compliance to quality and by development of new components. - To monitor and reduce manufacturing cost by reducing the cycle time of manufacturing operation by way of minimum rework and rejection and down time reduction for the machineries, reducing production cost by optimum utilization of available resources and avoid losses and wastage. - To drive all safety procedures, guidelines and processes among the shop floor members and continually identify unsafe conditions to avoid accidents. - To drive and implement new systems like Preventive maintenance on the shop floor, SAP implementation and input and others as well as quality management initiatives for the shop floor. - Maintain Standard Specification on Goods Laboratory Practice (GLP), Goods Manufacturing Practice (GMP), In process Quality Control (IPQC), Statistical Quality Practice and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and all these documentations as per guideline and requirement. - Detailed understanding COGS break up (material costing and conversion cost) - In depth understanding of at least one of the categories - Should have technical understanding of the RM (ingredients) - formulation etc. - Packing Material: Needs to know specs and related costs. Supply Chain : - To drive the Supply Chain operations and handle and direct the process of Supply Chain properly - Implementation of MRP module - Re-negotiating costs on local RM / PM (ongoing basis) & Purchasing land for own warehouse operations - Route optimisation by tying up with aggregators - Complete Warehouse & Transporter management/handling/negotiations - Maintain supply and demand planning with Supply Chain Team on Supply reconciliation, & Gap Recognition - To drive the production planning, material requirement planning, purchasing for ensuring smooth manufacturing process. - Ensure payment of the supplier/vendor/contract manufacturers (P2P, B2C) on time as per agreed T&C - To drive distribution and logistics operations by ensuring smoothly and effectively as planned. - Ensure effective inventory management and operations procedure in place to meet market demand and manage products on seasonal peak. - Plan, develop and implement distribution and logistics strategy and network in place to ensure smooth delivery at customer premises. - Manage the imports and export operations of Sri Lanka Team : - Build a strong team for each of the functions of Production, Maintenance, Quality, Procurement, Stores and Warehouse operations. Other responsibilities : - Detailed understanding COGS break up (material costing and conversion cost) and drive cost reduction to achieve the targeted GC - Controlling fixed costs within budgets - Liaising with statutory bodies and comply with requirements from time to time - Production is e NPDs as per innovation calendar Key Skills : - Strong functional knowledge and ability to think on feet - The incumbent should have led a team, be strong on execution and acquired a well-developed ability in influencing senior business leaders. - Deep Analytical and critical thinking skills - Ability to thrive in ambiguity & demonstrates high energy, drive & perseverance.
