Job Description :
- This will be a key leadership role reporting to the CEO, which will involve ensuring achievement of operational goals including vendor development & management, Production, Supply Chain management, manufacturing and Distribution across the country by stringent review mechanism.
- The candidate will be responsible for operational strategy for the office products.
- Overall, the candidate will ensure a smooth flow of high quality products, delivered efficiently within a set budget, across geographical multi-sites. Vital to business success is constant monitoring for cost effectiveness, reducing waste and maximising profitability by formulation of Strategy & stringent reviews.
- The candidate will also be involved in new product development, as well as review of the current products.
Core Tasks :
1. Provide leadership and vision by developing the long range and annual plans, with the evaluation and reporting of progress on operating strategies;
2. Responsible for KPIs including Inventory Turnover Rate, Delivery reliability, Backlog of overdue orders, Extra costs before and after dispatch, First pass yield, Value added per employee cost.
3. Achieve planned production as per budget and defined priorities in coordination with internal departments and external suppliers and cross functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Commercial and R&D;
4. Develop and implement strategic operational improvement plans for streamlining the supply chain management including activities covering accurate and timely delivery of products in all sales channels;
5. Achieve key performance targets for: production, quality, delivery, cost, expenses and other measurements of operational excellence;
6. Manage activities consequent to any sales returns/damaged goods and short expiry goods;
7. Devise and implement plans to mitigate the risk for smooth operational processes;
8. Report operational performance results, activities, etc. to the CEO and provide recommendations and plans for ongoing improvement.
9. Provide leadership, manage and develop a cohesive and productive team across levels;
10. Ensure areas of responsibility are delivered in a way that are consistent with the company's goals and financial-cost improvement plans;
Qualification:
- Engineering + MBA
- The candidate should also be skilled in six sigma black belt.
Experience : 12 to 15 years of experience (FMCG background is a must)
