Head - Operations - FinTech

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Head of Operations to lead and optimise all aspects of our daily business functions. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing various departments, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the entire organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.

- Process Optimisation: Streamline operational processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall productivity.

- Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership and guidance to the operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations.

- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing robust controls and procedures to safeguard the company's interests.

- Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.

- Technology Integration: Collaborate with the technology team to implement and optimise operational systems and tools, leveraging technology to drive operational excellence.

- Customer Experience: a customer-centric approach to operations, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our clients at every touchpoint.

- Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure operational performance, analyse data to identify areas for improvement and drive actionable insights.

- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on operational performance, initiatives, and challenges.

- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity within the operations team to drive business growth and excellence.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

- Proven experience in a senior operational role within the fintech industry, with a track record of success in driving operational excellence and managing complex operations.

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.

- Deep understanding of fintech operations, including knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
