The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations to lead our manufacturing plant in Maharashtra. This crucial role involves overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement. You will play a vital role in leading, motivating, and developing a team of over 500 employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Production Management:

1) Oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

2) Ensure efficient and timely production of high-quality fasteners, meeting set targets and deadlines.

3) Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.

4) Maintain strict adherence to quality control procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Team Leadership:

1) Provide strong leadership and direction to a team of over 500 employees, fostering open communication and collaboration.

2) Motivate and coach team members to achieve individual and team goals.

3) Implement talent development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

4) Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting safety, compliance, and ethical practices.

Planning and Budgeting:

1) Develop and implement operational plans and budgets, aligning with company objectives.

2) Monitor and control operational costs while ensuring optimal resource utilization.

3) Analyze and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions.

Supplier Management:

1) Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.

2) Negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers and manage vendor performance.

Compliance and Sustainability:

3) Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact.

Qualifications:

1) Minimum 15-25 years of experience, with at least 8-10 years in a leading role within the fasteners industry.

2) Proven track record of success in managing large-scale manufacturing operations, including experience with cold forging or hot forging processes.

3) Strong understanding of production planning, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control procedures.

4) Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

5) Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

6) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

7) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

8) Prior experience working in Maharashtra a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from - 35 LPA to - 45 LPA, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes a comprehensive benefits program, including health insurance, provident fund, and other benefits.
