Head - Operations Excellence - Paper Manufacturing Unit (8-12 yrs)
- Ensure adherence to the Overall Operations Excellence journey roadmap (TPM, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
- Convey feedbacks on a regular basis to steering board regarding progress of the operations excellence initiative
- Seek interventions from Steering Committee/Unit/SBU Head to remove bottlenecks affecting progress
- Organizing and participate in Steering Committee reviews and ensure such meetings happen without fail as per schedule
- Review the presentations along with Pillar Heads prior to putting up in Steering Committee
- Ensure MoM is promptly released for any reviews involving BE
- Monitoring the R/Y/G status of the action plan
- Continuously assess the efficacy & improve the quality of the reviews
- Interacting with different cross functional teams on regular basis to understand the extent of involvement of people
- Organizing Plant rounds for Senior Management and creating opportunities for teams to showcase their work
- Resolve any continuous improvement implementation issues through coaching/creating awareness etc.
- Keep a tab of the self-audit scores and identify the teams/areas which need special attention
Final clearance of Excellence level audits
- Facilitate development of internal assessors to foster progress of initiative
- Create and adhere an Assessing Calendar for Excellence Levels
- Work experience as Head of Business excellence/Operations excellence, preferably in Paper manufacturing unit
B.E / B.Tech or Master's degree
Six sigma black / green belt
