Head - Operations/Chief Operating Officer - Construction

Responsibilities:

- Managing operations across all multiple locations with responsibility of execution

- Leading the cross functional teams and developing the existing capabilities of subordinate staff

- Enhancing business operations with organized & structured efforts in line with business objectives & targets

- Fully responsible for entire operations, timely billing, collection of payment for each project, payables, execution of the projects with good quality and without delay and penalty

- Plan for construction program, Cash flow and submit the same to client and consultant with team assistance

- Organize meetings with Client and Consultant and Project Managers

- Finalization of resources allocation of Managers, Engineers and for all the site activities

- Finalisation of major sub contractors, and suppliers such as Ready Mix, Cement, Steel, Electricals, Plumbing and Cable etc well in advance to avoid last minutes emergency.

- Finalisation of supply of steel requirement in advance and ensure delivery has been made in time

- Follow up for any deviation and address issues with Site Engineers, Project Managers and Area Managers

- Follow up for payment certificates and collection of receivables from Consultant and Client

- Meeting with all Clients and consultants on regular basis at least once in a month for on-going sites

- Develop a good relationship with Clients and Consultants

- Take initiative to reduce cost by meeting with Project Managers/Site Engineers and allocate budget for each activity and monitor the contracts are completed within the budget

- Follow up for variations, documentation and submission to the clients and consultants and monitoring the same and get approval from concerned

- Reporting of Monthly Progress Reports of all sites to Management

- Knowledge of urban construction with emphasis on building and factory repairs

- Should have knowledge of Project Management, fully conversant right from acquisition of business till the completion of the Project. The company has full fledged team of Site Engineers and Project Engineers. This position will lead the team.

- Good to have both experience is Building Material segment and essential to have contracting execution experience.

Qualification: BE / B.Tech (Civil Engineering)

Should be a qualified Civil Engineer

Ideal Age - Should be between 35 to 45 years
