Roles & Responsibilities:

The OR Head would be responsible for developing, implementing and reviewing operational risk framework and policies for identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling & mitigating Operational risk.

- Develop, implement and assess of operational risk management tools such as RCSAs, KRIs, incident reporting, etc. Assessment of overall operational risk profile of the business and bank and presenting the risk findings to various stakeholders and risk committees.

- Review of all new products notes and process notes to ensure all risks are identified and adequate control are incorporated.

- Periodic self-assessments for the purpose of identifying and monitoring operational risks. Identifying emerging risks, assessing its likely impact on the bank and working with stakeholders for its mitigation and control. Review adequacy of insurance limits, coverage and effectiveness

- Maintenance of Loss database and external events database and reporting of critical events to the risk committees

- Conduct operational risk senior executive meeting on the risks identified, risk rating, adequacy of control, key risk indicators, implementation of new controls, etc. in the respective businesses

- Implementation of risk committee directions on operational risk, regulatory guidelines and Basel initiatives pertaining to operational risk. Timely and accurate submissions of all regulatory, board and risk committee notes.

- Review business continuity and disaster recovery plans of various business/operating units

- Perform periodic review of material outsourcing activity in accordance with Outsourcing policy.
