Job Responsibility

- An astute professional with rich experience in Poultry Nutrition, Production & Process Planning, Research & Development, Product Development, Business / Market Operations and interested in extensive tour for business promotion.

- Possess in depth understanding and knowledge of Poultry Nutrition, field Diagnosis, Lab analysis, Production management, Health & Breeding aspect in poultry.

- Expertise in developing Business Module for Poultry Feed Additives.

- Deft at coordinating work with the client to prevent and treat poultry problems and diseases.

- Adept at advising on poultry nutrition, the care and welfare of poultry.

- Possess knowledge of broiler, breeder & hatchery operations.

- Proficient in advising on poultry care, breeding and production.

- Possess up to date knowledge of recent developments in Poultry Nutrition, Veterinary Science & knowledge of poultry and animal diseases.

- Resourceful at strategizing techniques for maximum utilization of manpower/machinery.

Competency Forte

Poultry Nutrition/Feed/Veterinary Operations

- Standardizing the Nutrient and additive requirements of Poultry Broiler, Breeder, Layer Birds through intensive R & D and Field trials

- Product Development including Feed Additives like Toxin binders, Antioxidants, Cocktail NSP enzymes, Cattle/Broiler/Breeder/Layer Trace Mineral Mixers, Vitamin Premixes and complete premixes

- Development of Value added / Designer Eggs includes all products by continuous R & D and Human trials with Universities and created new markets.

- Standardizing the Laboratory Procedures and results. Selected and introduced rapid feed analyzing systems like NIR feed analyzer, integrated new systems to existing systems in all 55 feed mills.

- Developed Feed Quality Control Programs in all 55 feed plants and Flock (Broilers/Breeders/Layers) Health Checks.

- Tested, analyzed and reported the results of all Raw materials & Finished Feed for making informed decisions on Quality control of 55 Feed Mills.

Operations Management

- Facilitating Brooding, Rearing, Growing of Poultry Broiler, Breeder, Layer Birds & Feed, premix Formulation and Disease Management.

- Preparing production budgets including overheads budget, maintenance budget and capital budget to enhance operations in coordination with the macro plans of organization.

- Managing poultry production activities; ensuring livestock health and production; physical and natural resource management.

Quality & Safety Compliance

- Establishing Quality Management Systems & Safety measures across various processes of feed production to reduce equipment downtime and ensure safety standards at all the stages.

- Conducting inspections to ensure that equipments and activities of the staff are in compliance with pre-set specifications and guidelines laid down by statutory authorities.

- Formulating & implementing safety systems and managing overall safety operations of the farm; conducting safety audit of the plant and laboratory; implementing corrective measures.

- Maintaining hygiene environment, operating machinery & equipments and controlling pests at Feed plants.

Resource / Purchase/ Supply Chain Management

- Developing & implementing key procurement strategies for feed ingredients of various birds at different stages.

- Managing materials function and ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings without hampering the production and operation process.

- Developing, managing and monitoring the performance of multi-skilled work force and conceptualizing need-based training programs for maximizing operational efficiency.

- Supervising the preparation of MIS; other correspondences to provide feedback to top management.
