About the Role
Head - New City Launch is crucial role who is primarily responsible for launching new cities in allocated territory/zone as per organization's business expansion plan. The role would require extensive traveling across to multiple cities for launch and ensuring stability.
Responsibilities
- Building and leading an operations and marketing team - achieving targets, priorities, vendor on boarding, driving recruitment, training and mentoring team members and building best practices replicable across cities and regions.
- Hiring very smart hustlers who can think on their feet and take ownership of the work assigned.
- Working closely with the central services team and solving for long and short-term issues with sustainable solutions.
Requirements
- Should have 7+ years of experience in driving numbers, business development, account management and exposure to operations and marketing who possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and an ability to effectively facilitate group dynamics
- Seeks additional insight and expertise if/when obvious solution is not available - thinks creatively, devises alternative strategies & anticipates potential roadblocks
- Thoroughly prepares and prioritizes to keep project on track & possess the ability to multitask while working in a highly charged environment
- Acknowledges and demonstrates respect for all participants - their expertise and perspective
- Proven track record in project management skills
- Ability to manage project scope, timeline, resources and budget
- Consistently demonstrates high quality of work and attention to detail
- Identifies and acts on opportunities to improve or innovate
- Shows initiative, urgency and persistence in achieving goals
- Should possess - strong work ethic, willingness to get hands dirty and get stuff done
