Head - Network Equipment Engineer - Telecom

- 20+ years of telecom network experience, preferably with a telecom vendor network supplier / operator.

- Thorough and deep knowledge of telecom deployment procedures & services, hardware, deployment related material, etc.

- Experience of working on large wireless (RAN) network design and installation. Should have handled large scale deployment projects, rollouts and new technology deployments across geographies.

- Experience of working on both live and green field networks would be an advantage.

- Ability to visit the sites (if required), debug, and provide recommendations to customer and project teams on what needs to be done in case of a major fault.

- Should have the familiarity on the factory line, manufacturing the installation material, Identifying the root cause of a major fault, the correction of the deployed site as well as validating the new supplies.

- Should be able to create very detailed list of activities, responsibilities to be executed for any services project along with clear understanding of accountability for each task.

- Understand the equipment, deployment related material, hardware & technology, and be able to provide insight on network design and deployment

- Provide mentoring to the deployment engineers, and the field staff on optimizing / utilizing the equipment

- Strengthen the processes for field deployment services

- Be the expert, and guide the network engineers / leadership on anticipated issues

- For critical issues, needs to be hands on, going to site and debugging the critical issue.

- Understand alarm management, and help in creation of processes that could minimize alarms

- Have the ability to understand and anticipate the impact of any change / addition / modification / inclusion of any devise, gear, hardware, or process

- To create & obtain an agreement on services requirement document

- Provide guidance from deployment perspective & day to day management of deployment issue at sites
