Head - NBFC Partnerships & Credit Processing (10-12 yrs)

Job Description

Credit Processing Head

- Setting up the structure within the team of work allocation between team members

- Actively identifying gaps in operational processes and building out the team and hiring more members for the team else working with automation vendors to automate process through RPA

- Build redundancies in the system by understanding the system architecture and solutioning for potential issues that can arise

- Problem solve all operational and credit related issues that are raised by the team to ensure uninterrupted disbursals 24/7

- Must understand from other players in the ecosystem what processes are being adopted and implement similar best practices within the team

- Liaison with Banking partners

- Will be the primary POC between us and all NBFC partners for all communication and problem solving

- Will need to be deeply involved in the process of identifying and onboarding new NBFC/Banking partners

- Must understand the requirements put forth by the NBFCs, streamline the process across the different NBFC as far as possible, and build out the operational process in-house in line with these requirements

- Must work closely with internal teams such as product and tech to ensure the product and tech roadmaps take into account features required by the NBFC/Banking partner and are appropriately prioritized

- All regulatory requirements to be clearly understood and ensure that the company remains in compliance of these - will require close coordination and communication with NBFC's and internal tech teams

- Ensure uninterrupted and instant disbursal of funds. Needs to be capable of understanding roadblocks to this process and come up with solutions that can help tackle the issues being faced. Must understand the nuances of each NBFC/Bank and come up with solutions that allow for instant disbursals across all partners

- Liaison with internal stakeholders

- Work closely with the tech and product teams to prioritize automation of ops processes.

- Must be able to determine priority basis improved efficiencies of processes and improving TATs for end user

- Understand expected timelines for automation with tech and accordingly arrive at stop gap solutions that can help in the interim

- Work closely with customer success and service teams to understand on ground feedback from clients and accordingly raise issues and concerns with founders/NBFCs to ensure user experience is not impacted

- Working closely with the Credit Head to devise a credit underwriting system / score card. Includes:

- Creating a decision making framework for the underwriting of consumer/ STPL products

- Developing a scorecard with key parameters and weighting across each underwriting parameter

- Identifying ways in leveraging external data to make the model more efficient: Credit bureau, SMS-mining

- Determining what phase 1 vs phase 2 of the engine will look like i.e. the underwriting system will evolve basis initial learnings from the data trends

- Building / identifying people who can build out the algorithm / underwriting system
