Responsibilities:
Set sales and revenue targets for sales force, to meet budgets and stretch targets
- Develop the go to market, product, segment and channel strategies for the region
- Channel and Distribution Management
- Value Selling to Large End Users
- Manage the product portfolio, the pricing policy and rules to decide right products are offered for sale in the market
- Define service levels required for both pre- and after-sales
- Identify and document risks, and manage same via risk mitigation plans
- Develop high sensitivity to market needs - domestic and global - competitor activities and industry trends, so as to build business potential through product differentiation and better value proposition
- Establish and maintain relations with customers to grow business
- Develop effective dealer management strategies to sustain and grow business across all regions
- Attract, motivate and retain talent. Develop capability, grow competence and develop succession candidates.
Preferred Industrial Experience : Should have handled national sales in any of the following industries ( illustrative )
- Industrial Paints/Industrial Gases/Industrial Lubricants /Equipments (pumps, valves etc )/Adhesives, seals/Abrasives /Power tools /Power Transmission .
- Should be a graduate engineer in Electrical /Electronics / Mechanical branch/Post graduation / Management degree would be an added advantage
