ROLE PURPOSE : - Reporting into the CEO for India Business, the role wll lead General Trade and Modern Trade sales operations to achieve Annual Operating Plan - Achieve Organisations long term &amp; short-term objectives KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : - Develop Sales strategies and annual business plan aligned with the objectives decided by the management - Expand Pan India Distribution network of salespeople and distributors. - Achieve Defined market share objective in the Baby market both in modern trade and Traditional Trade. - Implement automated tools for effective and efficient sales and distribution network like DMS, SFA. - To establish best practices to showcase high end imagery in Modern trade - Ensuring that the cross-functional business unit works as one cohesive high performing unit. - Deliver progress, update and recommendations in product mix and positioning to the Leadership Team through communication, collaborative and influencing skills. - Develop Strong Relationship with major customers with-in the country - Leads and take care of the development of the Team, particularly Regional Managers and instill commitment to ensure the performance of set objectives, implements norms &amp; processes - Recruit, train and nurture the sales team to achieve incremental sales objectives year on year basis. - Financial Discipline National Collections &amp; Manage Receivables - Plays a vital role in supporting organisational changes SKILLS : - Business Development experience and management experience with strong expertise in sales operations - Experience in Distribution set up and management, working with the Channel Partners - Able to Lead from the front and challenge the status quo - Think on feet, simultaneously prepare a strategy and execute it through excellent team work and People Leadership skills. - Skilled at preparing and implementing annual sales strategy with enthusiasm and ambition of permeating a CAN DO culture within the organization - Superior oral, writing communication skills with highly acquired interpersonal skills. - Ability to grasp complex businesses, understanding of business intelligence to articulate plan for business development - Innovative, stress tolerance, decision-making skills. - Strong training and presentation skills; - Able to work under pressure and close deadline. SPECIFICATION: - MBA from reputed institute with relevant experience in National FMCG Sales at least in the last 2-3 years with Exceptional Career track showcasing Gravitas, Growth, Communication and Appearance. - Indepth Knowledge of south market is essential. - Energetic and capable of leading change.
