Head MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer)

Job Description :

- Acting as a Money Laundering reporting officer to FIU-IND and RBI

- Guidance for screening outgoing and incoming remittances for special designated nationals, high risk and sanctioned countries and business to ensure Compliance with AML regulations including PMLA

- Develop and manage periodic KYC updation programme along with risk categorization module

- Reporting of Suspicious transactions to FIU. Ensuring timely submission of reporting to regulator(s)

- Effective liaisoning with regulatory agencies, internal and external advisors, and other internal control groups on AML related Compliance issues

- Manage the automation and upgradation of AML software - Transaction monitoring and reporting module

Successful Applicant :

- Expertise in development of AML policies, system and procedures to ensure effective implementation

- Advise the senior management about the risk exposure the business face from money laundering about how to manage the that risk.

- Ensure all compliance owned registers are kept up to date e.g., PEP register, complaints, gifts and entertainment, sanctions, breaches etc

- Receive, review, investigate and, if appropriate, externalize internal Suspicious Activity Reports

- Roll out on-line AML training to all new employees

- Keep updated with relevant regulatory news

- Ensure that all regulatory changes are reviewed, and the impact notified to the Group Compliance Manager and Risk Committee

- Recommend any changes to operating procedures as required in light of regulations or procedural changes and when required provide input into the development of new operating procedures

- Report to the Risk Committee as required by the Terms of Reference and assist in the investigation of any suspected breaches of legal or regulatory requirements or internal compliance policies and standards
