We have an opening with one of our client for the position of : Head of Modern Trade (Retail) - Consumer Durable Industry

Location : Mumbai

Job Description :

- To be responsible for Business Development & Retail Operations. (P & L Role)

- Responsible for Retail Operations, Retail Business Development & Merchandising

- Responsible for planning, developing and implementing sales program in the channel.

- Responsible for in-store Planning, coordination & evaluation of promotions, marketing and Visual Merchandising.

- Responsible for Managing Retail Operations, Business Development, Sales and Marketing functions of outlets of Pan India

- Create Retail Identity with Marketing.

- Comprehensive management of Retail Operations for Exclusive Brand Outlets in High Street Stores and Malls.

- Generates ideas about future retail activities to ensure a cutting-edge strategy; maintains up to date information of the market place, competitors and trends.

- Take decisions and manages the daily operations of the retail business including planning of resources.

- To ensure the delivery of operational KPIs and sales & profitability plan across stores

- Translates the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit; identifies and optimizes promotional opportunities.

- To introduce new sales and marketing strategies.

Requirement :

Education : Graduate + MBA with specialization in sales & marketing from a premier institute.

Experience :

- MBA with 12 to 16 yrs of Experience handling Modern Trade / Managing Exclusive Brand Outlets in Malls & High Streets in any / Consumer durables / lifestyle industry.
