We are looking Head MT for an FMCG Company.
Title : Head - Modern Trade
Job Summary : To head and lead a team of MT and Key Accounts.
Location - Ahmedabad
Reports to : National Sales Head
Direct Reports : 4 ASMs and Key Accounts Manager.
Key Stakeholders : Marketing, Trade Marketing, GDSO (Supply Chain
Management), Finance and Human Resources
Qualification - MBA ( only from premium B school Batch ( 2003/ 2005 )
Responsibilities :
Pre-requisite :
- Essential Qualification : Graduate in any discipline with a degree in Management from reputed institute
- Years of Experience : 12 - 20 years of experience of managing MT (FMCG)
- Preferred Age Group : 35-45 years
- Strong communicator with the maturity and depth to represent the organization well in day to day as well as strategic platforms with all Key customers
- Sharp, cutting edge analytical skills to be able to use Data and information to draw out concise insights
- A strong People leader who can galvanize his/her team to a common visions with a sense of camaraderie as well as high level of result orientation
- Work seamlessly across functional and hierarchical boundaries to create a common ground and move the needle consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a futuristic Modern Trade Strategy blueprint covering all areas such as
- Account Management, Sales, Category Management, JBP, Budget Ownership and Sales Processes
- Deliver Business goals in line with AOP covering parameters of Volume, Value, Spends, Margins and Shares.
- Lead a team of Key Account Managers and Area Managers to deploy Strategy into sustainable and sharp, cohesive Actions
- Work in tandem with the Brand Marketing team and Category Heads to an equivalent of the Brand strategy for Modern Trade ecosystem
- Devise and deploy a cost effective Route to Market in order to provide optimal service levels to all customers
People Management
- An excellent people manager and leader; able to inspire, develop and retain high calibre talent
- Ability to energise the team with clear vision of the business
- To work on Capability Building of the employees to create future pipeline ready
The Person
- Experience of handling Sales of Modern Trade Business
- Should have managed a team in the current job
- Should carry experience of implementing marketing strategies in the field effectively.
- Must have an established track record of achieving targets
- Working closely with trade marketing function
- Demonstrated success in managing a team of managers
Experience :
- An excellent manager; able to recruit and retain people in the team and get the work done effectively
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical skills
