Head - Mobile App Development

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Relevant experience in the IT Software / Service Industry. Preferably in the Fintech areas but can come from any other consumer internet industry as well. Experience in broking industry will be an added advantage.

- Define the Technology strategy, Technology Roadmap, defining the right tech stack for the business

- Leading the team to bring the right engineering culture and innovation

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Heads and other vendors and external stakeholders in getting the right Tech for the business

- Leading the team in defining the right engineering culture and standards by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

- Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities

- Good understanding in infrastructure architecture, systems administration, network administration and storage administration.

- Skilled in IT budgeting, tracking, reporting and Cost optimizations.

- Good overview of IT Security policies and their implementation.

- Experience in developing reusable artifacts/frameworks, re-usable assets, Industry solutions, reference architecture, design, development and QA best practice

- Enforce sound development practices and ensure the quality delivery of enterprise mobile solutions

- Deliver mobile platform and technical architecture recommendations

- Optimise performance, taking external factors into account such as maximising battery life / efficiency, minimising network load, handling situations whereby signal may not be available or limited

Key Skills :

- 10-12 years of relevant experience.

- Proven track record of implementing production grade Mobile App on hybrid or native technology.

- App is based on Flutter technology. Candidate is expected to have good understanding on flutter and willing to learn.

- Strong knowledge on Flutter widgets like Cupertino for iOS and Material Components for Android.

- Knowledge on building flutter module and flutter plug-ins.

- Experience working on mobile platform like Android/iOS is required.

- Must have working experience on designing, leading development and maintaining enterprise grade applications.

- Good understanding of API and its consumption.

- Good understanding of Performance and tuning aspect of App and peripheral.

- Good understanding of WebSocket and its use in app effectively.

- Experience in following DevOps process and agile practices.

- Good Project Management skill. Estimate, Track, Deliver project in tight deadlines,

- Manage App in long run with high uptime and top class performance.
