Head - Mining Operations - Iron Ore

Looking to hire a Head Of Ops-(Iron Ore) for one the India's biggest Steel manufacturer. Incumbent should be a B.Tech in Mining with an experience of more than 20 years in Mining for Iron Ore.

 1) Responsible for safety, welfare and health of work persons

2) Responsible for Planning and production

3) Responsible for achieving targeted production

4) Responsible for maintaining good industrial relations.

5) Responsible for coordinating with various departments of the company.

6) Responsible for Laisonong and coordinating with various Govt. Departments and Organizations.

7) Responsible for Transportation and Despatches.

8) Oversee company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality and cost effective management of resources.

9) Approve mining operational procedures, policies and standards.

10) Direct mining operations to meet budget and other financial goals.

11) Direct short-term and Long-term planning.

12) General supervision and management of the day to day affairs.

13) Monitoring performance of managerial persons and giving feedback.

14) Establish the performance goals and assess policies for managerial staff.

15) Promote and direct the organizations health, safety and environmental strategies.

16) Other duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

17) Giving daily Reports to Managing Director.
