Job Purpose :

- We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial & Techno-commercial minded candidate who have experience in Mines Exploration, feasibility & economically viability study, estimation of mineral resource potential, resource planning, logistics & mineral evacuation planning.

- The individual will manage the organization in an effective, efficient, and forward-looking way and develop a sustainability and operational strategy.

- Individual will be responsible for all day-to-day mining and processing operations including Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.

- Furthermore, the individual will fulfil the priorities, goals and objectives determined by the Board in the context of the organization's strategic vision, budgets and responsibilities set out below, with a view to increasing shareholder value.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Head-Mining is responsible for the following :

- Leading the entire business unit

- Execution of mining projects - Exploration and estimation of minerals, Feasibility studies, liaison with state & central agencies for Mining License and other statutory compliances

- Optimization and effective utilization of resources like plants and machinery, infrastructure and human resources etc.

- Implement and adopt best practices for production and responsible for achieving production targets

- Identify potential issues and collaborate with mines and mineral processing team to prevent or resolve them

- Ensure complete adherence to safety standards

- Ensure maintenance plans and schedules are coordinated and reviewed with production demands

Job Specification :

- A strong mining rather than technical background

- B.E/B. Tech Mining or Mineral Processing with 25+ years experience and significant exposure to mining operations and the metals & mining industry in general

- Extensive experience in green field mines, conducting geology studies and reporting, developing mine exploration plan, feasibility and economic viability studies, estimation of mineral resources, design & detailed engineering, logistic and minerals movement planning

- Experience in start-up & commissioning, Total Project Management, Operations and General Management.

- Must have successfully executed at least one Green Field Mining Project

- Hands on experience in preparation of Mining Plan, Mining Scheme, Mining Operation & Production plan

- Demonstrated commercial insight, strategic thinking, and business acumen

- Understanding of Forest Clearance, Environmental Clearance, Consent to Establish and Operate, environmental, health and safety compliances and associated permits, Ore Removal Permission management, Land Acquisition and Alienation
