Head - Merchant Acquisition - FinTech

We are an independent financial technology company with the aim to further the development of the FinTech Ecosystem in India.

Responsibilities :

- Identify key target potential clients in the targeted segments that we can develop new and account extension businesses by establishing a strategy to develop new partnership opportunities.

- Manage strategic merchant relationships from qualification to post-sales set up to maintain service level standards

- Manage the whole sales cycle and sales closure to grow new business and acquire new strategic merchants

- Understand and roll-out strategic sales strategies and execution plans;

- Perform all aspects of primary and secondary research to partner company product to market

- Ensure a deep knowledge of the marketplace platform environment to ensure full merchant understanding of our value proposition

- Work with strategic partners to cross/up-sell products to achieve business targets;

Work closely with Product Management team to bring finest product

- Engage in all aspects of the implementation new features to build great product for customer

- Provide lead role in all areas related to strategy, planning, sales, business development and operations.

Requirements :

- Must be from Entrepreneur background/ built company

- At least five years of entrepreneurial, business development, financial services or consultancy experience is required.

- Should have done B2B sales

- Have great experience in Consumer internet market

- Strong affinity with early stage tech startups, technology and venture capital.

- helped in building team, product & Degree required in Finance, Economics and/or Business is a plus but not essential.

- Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Attentive to details and able to multitask.

- Should be willing to travel across India

- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
