MEP-Head

Leadership-Level :

- Provide strong leadership particularly in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing, risk reduction, performance metrics, work process efficacy and efficiency, team performance, and the pursuit of excellence

- Create the MEP cost savings plan and drive the plan to execution. Collaborate with ministry, customer sites, and other support personnel to assist in identifying Global Best Practices. Serve as technical expert in MEP matters and provide counsel to ministry administration, departments and personnel.

- Develop and implement Best Practice MEP programs and procedures to ensure employee, patient and facility safety in accordance with all city, state and federal codes and regulations

- Create the plan for the review of building construction designs, MEP oversight and audit programs and MEP inspection reports.

- Provide technical leadership to ministries and assists departments in implementing general MEP policies and site specific plans and measures.

- Maintains state-of-the art knowledge in areas of responsibility through contacts with industry peers and involvement with MEP engineering associations.

- Provide subject matter expertise in the development and implementation of Centers of Excellence.

- Research and make recommendations to develop standards and guidelines for functions system-wide, including pricing and costing model, service requirements, performance measures, safety risk, and compliance requirements.

- Provide technical assistance to MEP associates to include: designers, contractors, architects and engineers regarding MEP issues.

- Assist communication and coordination among various regions and departments, and outside entities.

- Propose efficiency improvements to MEP processes.

- Manage multiple projects at the same time

- Drive results for all projects currently in scope

- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with initiative work plans and established targets

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related professional studies

- Experience and knowledge of Joint Commission, skills reflecting knowledge of at least one of the technical disciplines within the maintenance section - HVAC, plumbing, electrical, where the work requires extensive experience in the field and integration of related technical disciplines.

- Effective communication skills for handling employee interactions such as interviewing, providing directions, training, counseling, etc.

- Strong analytical abilities for understanding and interpreting maintenance requests

- Good judgment in establishing priorities, scheduling routine/preventative maintenance

- Solid organization and coordination abilities for planning work and project schedules
