Head - Media Relations - BFSI

Position: Head - Media Relations (Leading Financial Services Firm)

Role:

- Devise and supervise the media outreach strategy for the company and maintain relationships with a portfolio of key financial market participants and media journalists

- Interact with journalists and investors by sending research, following up on market events, invite to road shows & follow up on requests

- Direct and manage the media outreach team and its efforts

- Provide direct marketing support to the Business and Relationship Managers

- Develop and maintain presentation overviews and pitch books

- Work closely with the Corporate Communications and Investor Relations teams

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a financial services environment and dealing with financial media journalists across publications, electronic media and new age media

- Post Graduate degree, preferably in a finance or business or mass media related subject with atleast 7- 12 years of experience

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- An interest in financial markets

- Good Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
