About The Client : Our client is a leading name in the consumer internet space funded by marquee investors.
Background to the role : As a key member of the leadership team within the marketing function, the role leads the overall media planning across the various businesses.
Responsibilities :
- Identifying target audiences and analyzing their behavior, characteristics, and routines
- Ensure the highest ROI for the media to contribute to increase market penetration and competitive presence
- Work closely with the team to embed centrally generated best practice media planning guidelines, KPI and standardized reporting.
- Provide the construct of the media based on the Marketing and communication objectives
- Develop relationship with the Media agency planners
- Contract negotiating and budget control
Ideal Persona :
- 10 to 15 years of strong experience with In-depth understanding of the Indian media market
- Experience in media planning and a strong digital foundation is a requirement
- Well established external media network
- Background in an agency environment is must
