Head - Materials Management - eCommerce

Job Requirements:

- Compliant to all Government rules and regulation related to Customs/Excise clearance and SEZ/STPI/EOU schemes.

- Reduce Lead time of Logistics and Customs clearance.

- Maximize Benefits to the organization from the schemes by reducing the gap in policy adherence.

- External stakeholders: Government authorities, Tax authorities

- Internal Stakeholders: Taxation team, Facilities management team, Global Security group, IT team for IT Assets, Procurement team

- Direct team: Location teams to manage assets, members managing tax related policies and tracking.

- Appreciation of technology and ability to visualize and execute end to end application of technology, keeping user experience at forefront

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience :

- Education: Master/Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related degree

- Certification: Professional certification from Association for Supply Chain Management

- Knowledge: Extensive logistics experience; hands-on SC project management experience for cost-critical projects working with inter-departmental teams; and practical knowledge of transportation and warehousing industry

- Leadership skills: Demonstrate leadership and resource management experience and ability to collaborate, motivate, and coach, and supervise others

- Interpersonal skills: Effective negotiating skills, ability to influence others, and conflict resolution and facilitation skills

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills: Ability to think critically working outside the box. It is also essential that they can work with numbers and analyze data scrutinizing it from various perspectives, as well as have the drive to take ownership of projects and see it through to completion

- Computer skills: Must have SAP skills and the ability to work with computer applications and software, including Microsoft applications and logistics software.

- Working in IT/ITES industries for more than 15years.

- Experience and knowledge of IT and non-IT assets management in the organization.

- Experience in creating policies, guidelines, standard operating procedures keeping the latest government policies pertaining to SEZ, STPI, etc schemes in mind

- Team management experience along-with a successful track record of working with multiple teams within the organization like IT teams, Procurement teams, Security teams, Facilities Management teams and Finance teams.

- Experience in tracking benefits from various government schemes, applying them to suit the organization context and building a robust long-term plan keeping in mind changing trends.
