Opening with a well known Healthcare MNC  Position Title : Head of Marketing - Surgical Workplaces  Functional Area : Surgical Workplaces  Direct Reporting : Managing Director  Main purpose of the position :  - Oversee the development of company's marketing programs for the Surgical Workplaces product lines. Specifically, the role will be responsible for the operational and marketing management of product distribution and marketing relationship with the manufacturer.   - Activities may also include technical sales support, product advertising/promotion, planning, developing and implementing multiple channel programs and directing the development of company marketing requirements for the aforementioned product line. Responsible for the direction and management of all business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation and distribution and channel strategy. Drive the company's achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals.  Functions :  Specific functions in the company that are exclusively linked to the position, and are based on local law requirements. Not applicable for the majority of the positions within the company.  Main responsibilities :  Strategic Planning :  - Contribute to the development and execution of strategic and tactical marketing plans to drive rapid India sales growth  - Work with cross-functional teams and the India's sales force to ensure marketing programs and events meet the needs of both internal and external customers  - Develop local marketing initiatives that maximize sales force effectiveness and overall penetration of product line  - Assist in the development and execution of promotional plans, clinical marketing presentations, trade-show strategy, peer-to-peer programs, and general sales force support  - Monitor costs of projects and internal and external indicators by reviewing reports and newsletters, reading organizational literature, meeting with peers and reading departmental reports  - Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions, specifically in the area of upstream marketing  - Ensure compliance to all FDA Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function)  - Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval  - Able to practice verbatim compliance (exact compliance, no interpretation) with corporate Quality and Regulatory procedures (as applicable to your job function)  - Able to promptly report any non-compliance issues to Chief QA, RA, Compliance officer or appropriate administrator, including the Compliance Hotline  Leadership :  - People Leadership of multiple employees and several teams including the direct management of the Marketing- Surgical Workplaces Level 5 employees.  - Provide knowledge, advice, direction and feedback on a daily basis. Act as a mentor to direct reports.  - Performance Management of individuals including assisting with incident investigations that include Marketing- Surgical Workplaces employees, reviews and termination of employment contracts.  - Conduct annual Performance Reviews, Bonus Plan development and reviews. Talent Management of up and coming individuals and succession planning.  - Build and maintain an effective Leadership Team.  - Induct new employees, conduct monthly Probation Reviews.  - Oversee attraction, sourcing, development and retention of a (regional) sales organisation appropriate for the companys maturity/size.  - Be a role model for company culture.  Business Development :  - Oversee Marketing - Surgical Workplaces business development, identify new market opportunities, drive growth, determining the optimal pricing to balance profit with customer/client satisfaction, and directing marketing operations.  - Drive the development of national, and, if appropriate, international sales strategies.  Marketing :  - Collaboration with Marcoms in development of high impact product campaigns, either launch or refocus, ensuring accurate market segmentation and positioning, maximizing commercial ROI.  - Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company and promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.  - Networking within the field of Medical Devices and key opinion leaders including engagement with health executives.  Financials :  - Develop and manage Marketing budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.  - Financial reporting in Leadership meetings, reports and directly to the Managing Director- India.  - Assume full accountability for the Marketing- Surgical Workplaces department compliance.  Marketing Management :  - Establish compensation, training and incentive programs.  - Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts. Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.  - Work closely with Sales BU to develop, establish, and direct channel and distribution strategies and programs.  - Work closely with Sales BU to develop and execute lead programs.  - Manage overall Marketing process, set appropriate metrics for sales channel management.  - Develop pricing policies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high-profile customers and channel partners.  - Manager overall state Marketing teams to drive performance and results.  Commercial Operations :  - Liaise with the Commercial Operations BU and consult on Corporate Partnerships, Marketing Effectiveness and Training.  - Collaboration with Operations Division, aim for accuracy of inventory planning and forecasting and general internal warehousing process compliance by commercial team members.  Quality System Duties and Responsibilities :  - Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.   If interested kindly apply or call at 022-33040695   Piyali RGF Select India Pvt Ltd
