JOB OVERVIEW :

- To lead and manage the strategic initiatives for Industrial and Calibration division for its growth in India. Primary responsibilities include Strategy development, setting up new business critical teams, benchmarking and adoption of the best practices, competitive assessment, product roadmaps, master pricing, promotion, demand generation, and increasing awareness and preference.

- The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all matters of business - Sales, Operations, Product Management & Marketing. They will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company's vision and culture. The goal will be to ensure the profitability of our company's activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES :

1. Develop goals and objectives that tend to growth and prosperity

2. Build a resilient, agile team, able to navigate complexity and create a culture of simplicity, innovation and continuous improvement.

3. Make informed decisions aligned with company's strategy and policies and frameworks and industry/regulatory requirements

4. Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals

5. Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity

6. Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers

7. Gather, analyze and interpret external and internal data and write reports

8. Assess overall company performance against objectives

9. Represent the company in events, conferences etc.

10. Credibility - acts in accordance with stated values; follows through on promises; uses ethical considerations to guide decisions and actions

11. Lead change - supports activities that position the business for the future; offers novel ideas and perspectives

12. Guiding the day to day activities of the Marketing team

13. Translates function/KPI goals into actions for direct reports

14. Study business drivers, trends and recommend suggestions for sustained growth of business

15. Lead and actively participate in cross functional group assignments and initiatives.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS :

- Engineering Graduate & MBA from a premier institute with 7 ~ 10 years of experience.

- 3 +years of experience in a Leadership / Sr. Management role.

- Confident, entrepreneurial, results oriented, able to work under pressure and be self-motivated.

- Ability to - think outside the box

- Should have handled a team of 5 to 10 members in his current role.

- Proven experience as business manager or relevant role

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

- Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development

- Marketing knowledge and channel management experience are added advantage
