Marketing Head
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy, including brand positioning, target audience segmentation, and marketing campaigns, to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion.
- Lead and manage a high-performing marketing team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Product teams to align marketing activities with sales goals, product launches, and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, market opportunities, and customer preferences, and use the insights to refine marketing strategies and tactics.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across different marketing channels and activities.
- Oversee the creation and production of marketing collateral, including website content, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and social media content.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing channels, including search engine optimization (SEO), paid advertising (SEM/PPC), email marketing, social media, and content marketing, to drive website traffic, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic partners, industry influencers, and key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and explore partnership opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing automation and e-commerce to ensure firm remains at the forefront of innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (minimum 7-10 years) in a marketing leadership role, preferably within the SAAS industry or e-commerce sector.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, with a track record of successfully developing and implementing marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics and translate them into actionable insights and strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating a marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM/PPC, email marketing, social media, content marketing, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving measurable marketing goals.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
- A passion for technology, e-commerce, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
