Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

a. Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing research strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.

b. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key research objectives and prioritize areas for investigation.

2. Team Leadership:

a. Lead and inspire a team of marketing researchers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

b. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

3. Research Design and Execution

a. Design and execute primary and secondary research studies, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and market trend analysis.

b. Utilize various research methodologies to gather relevant data and insights on consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

4. Data Analysis and Interpretation

a. Oversee the analysis of research findings to extract actionable insights and present these insights in a clear and compelling manner.

b. Collaborate with data analysts to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful reports and presentations.

5. Competitive Intelligence

a. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to provide the organization with a competitive edge.

b. Analyze competitor products, pricing strategies, and positioning to inform our marketing strategy.

6. Stakeholder Communication

a. Communicate research findings to key stakeholders, including marketing teams, executives, and product development teams.

b. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that research insights are integrated into decision-making processes.

7. Budget Management

- Manage the budget for marketing research activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and a strong return on investment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field

2. Proven experience in a senior marketing research role, with a track record of successfully leading teams and driving impactful insights.

3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.

4. Excellent communication and presentation skills

5. In-depth knowledge of market research methodologies and tools

6. Familiarity with data analysis software and techniques
