Responsibility:
- Envision and lead the marketing function for office furniture which is a B2B business
- To develop category strategy & product plans in order to drive business and achieve sales targets as well as profitability (EBIT)
- To carry out relevant consumer research / market analysis in order to develop category strategy and gain market share
- To devise marketing mix & execute marketing plans within timelines and in a cost-effective manner. To lead the digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives.
- Track Indian & International brands for latest trends in the Industry & provide insights to business
- To drive new product development by collaborating with the design team and finalize product specifications by giving critical inputs.
- Develop Competitive pricing strategies & articulate competitive positioning
- Develop product presentations & Create collateral
- To contribute in the area of people and process development for improving the function of the marketing department
- To nurture and build winning teams. A team of 5 product managers will directly report to this position. There will be a dotted line relationship with the regional sales managers. The role will entail collaborative working with Sales, Design and production teams.
Important
- Should have an engineering degree and MBA degree; Good MBA School will be an added advantage
- Should have experience in Product Management roles
- Must have experience in product pricing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Team Leading experience

Skills/Qualifications:
MBA/PGDM - Sales & Marketing from Tier 1 / 2 B school with Engineering background
