Our client is one of world's biggest manufacturers in the world of personal care.
- This incumbent is being recruited with a view to set up our marketing department from end to end. To set up sub departments of brand management and eCommerce.
- To build brand positioning and stories for our brands and ultimately help to change the business model for product development and launch to a model where the marketing team is the central function and owners of the brands global P&L.
- Build a brand management department.
- Build brand stories and positioning for each of the groups brands.
- Set up brand guidelines and target markets for the group's brands.
- Build a process and strategy for the product development pipeline of our brands.
- Take overall responsibility, for the full product development cycle; from product conception, through production, through to in-market launch and post launch evaluations and action planning.
- Build relationships with our Sales teams, as well as end consumers across the world to begin building plans for ATL, BTL activities aimed to drive sales.
- Develop a coherent influencer strategy globally.
- Build a concerted digital marketing strategy for the brand.
- Build a strategy and plan of action for the group's social media channels.
- Take ownership of all website re-development projects.
- Create, build and roll-out the global marketing strategy of the group.
- Work with the cross-functional teams, to adapt the business process relating to product development, product launch and sales - to bring the marketing department as the central department of the organization.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience with relevant Master degree preferably from a premium B school.
- Should have worked in a role where they have had to build up a marketing department from scratch.
- Able to balance strategic vision, with on the ground involvement and work.
- Should have come from the personal care, beauty or color cosmetics industry.
- Should have worked in a role that has involved international exposure (beyond just India).
- Able to work with a very wide number of brands & products.
- Entrepreneurial vision and mindset.
- Should have a solid understanding of financials and managing P&L's.
