About the Company

A US based fintech company is looking for a Marketing Head with minimum 12 years of experience to lead corporate branding and marketing as well as support branding initiatives of its global platform and products.

This company is 12 years old, on a very fast growth path, well funded, stable, profitable and already a unicorn. Company details will be shared with shortlisted candidates only.

About the Role

This is a functional leadership position spearheading branding and marketing in the India geography. The role reports into CMO and CEO (Functional) and CTO (Administrative). The role holder will lead a team comprising of marketing, communications and digital marketing personnel.

Target Profile

Brand marketing expertise especially related to corporate branding for IT product organizations with minimum 12 years of experience.

Location

The Marketing Head position will be based out of Delhi-NCR.

Role Requirements

You will work with business heads and external entities to market an aspirational brand within India geography. Key responsibilities include:

- Lead all Marketing initiatives based out of India to build our - Corporate Brand- as a leading - Fintech- organization in India and oversee digital marketing support provided to the US Marketplace (Small Medium Enterprises - Loans) platform and product.

- Develop and implement marketing strategies to build the Corporate Brand as a premium and aspirational brand across industry and talent market

- Plan and implement disruptive marketing interventions

- Ensure a strong and consistent brand message across communication channels

- Ensure the Brand message is strong and consistent for US and India Market through multiple marketing efforts like corporate events, email campaigns, web pages, promotional material, PR, Media and Social Media activities etc.

- Ensure participation and prime time visibility at industry events

- Conduct industry events to generate sales leads

- Ensure prime participation at seminars, talk-shows, round tables, conferences, guest lectures meant for our target audience

- Draft press releases and ensure their visibility in prime media channels (Newspapers - ToI, ET, BT, Fortune, Forbes etc., business channels - ETNow, CNBC-TV18 etc.)

- Prepare marketing collateral, including corporate presentations

- Leverage industry associations (NASSCOM, CII, AmCham, ASSOCHAM etc.) to enhance brand presence and visibility

- Follow up on leads generated at industry events

- Collaborate across functions and geographies for maximum impact of business and media events

- Network with industry associations, media and communication professionals, academic (Top Tech Institutes and B-Schools) and research institutes, entrepreneurship and incubation cells

- Plan, prepare, manage and track ROI for the marketing budgets and spending

- Ensure strong lead generation and quality conversion through Digital Marketing (SEO, SCM, PPC, website traffic, social media initiatives, Facebook, twitter, etc.) for marketplace platform

Shortlisting Requirements

- Potential role holder is required to have strong conceptual knowledge about marketing initiative(s), digital marketing, PR & brand communication, strong media relations, experienced in handling marketing agencies and must have strong people skills and stakeholder's management skills.

- Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in Marketing (Over all facets of marketing, brand management, public relations etc.) and must be an MBA from a premium institute

- Prior experience in marketing for an IT Product company will be highly preferred.

- Must be highly networked in the media industry

- Excellent communication (oral and written English) and networking skills

- An enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills

- Strong expertise in handling marketing agencies as well as events and campaign management experience

- Good commercial and negotiations skills

- Strong sense of urgency and results orientation

- Excellent presentation skills (Advanced MS Office skills)

- Must be a go-getter with - never say die- attitude. Outgoing, extrovert personality comfortable chasing stretch goals and managing under pressure.

- Must be a self-starter: ability to work well independently with a high level of accountability for revenue growth and managing real/virtual teams as required.

- Collaboration & Influence: Ability to successfully influence and bring together internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.

- Creativity/Innovation: Generate disruptive and innovative approaches to marketing problems. Be open to trying new ideas and adopting new ways of doing things.

Travel Requirements

- Occasionally as per business requirements.

Compensation

- Compensation will be aligned to market and commensurate with candidate's skills and experience.

Selection Process

- Selection process will comprise of 2-3 rounds of discussions in a short span of time.
