Job Overview

We are looking to currently hire for a pre-series A edtech startup based in Bangalore. The company is well funded and started by an ex unicorn founder in the edtech space.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Leader, who has a passion to work in the education space. As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for defining and executing the company's digital marketing, branding & growth initiatives. In this role, you will report directly and work closely with the Founder. You are expected to drive initiatives and deliver consistent outcomes that are aligned with the business objectives to accelerate growth. You are expected to bring thought leadership to the table to make the marketing outcomes more effective

Role Must-Haves

- Early-stage startup experience with a funded company in a leadership marketing/growth capacity (zero to 1 experience for growth)

- Proven experience in creating a new category and developing it to scale in a B2C startup

- Ideally, experience with subscription models both in India and internationally

- Some Experiences you should have had

- Led the development of strategies and objectives for digital marketing across all channels - Website, blogs, social media, and various online ad networks.

- Built content and branding models to scale a startup

- Expertise with developing a new brand and category from scratch and associated metrics to link sales growth with category development

- Showcased strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

- Managed customer segmentation strategy ensuring the right customer targeting, with the right message, through the right channel at the right time.

Role Requirements:

- 6-10 years of leadership experience in Marketing & Brand-building functions for funded B2C companies at an early stage

- Experience in building a solid brand from ground-up and aligning the brand strategy to business goals at every stage of growth.

- Hacker mindset for using high usability based content development to increase awareness for the brand

- Social Impact mindset to be part of the next wave of transformation in childhood Education.
