Head Marketing
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to establish and promote ATLAS University as a leading brand in the education industry.
- Strategic Planning: Formulate a long-term marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. This includes defining target markets, positioning, and competitive differentiation.
- Tactical Execution: Translate the marketing strategy into actionable plans, campaigns, and initiatives. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure successful implementation.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and regularly report on results to company leadership.
Build and Lead a Team:
- Recruitment: Identify and hire top talent for the marketing, PR, and branding team, including specialists in areas such as content creation, social media management, and public relations.
- Team Development: Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing training to team members to foster their professional growth and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Market Research:
- Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor competitors' activities, market trends, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
- Consumer Insights: Collect and analyse consumer feedback and data to understand customer behaviour and preferences, informing marketing strategies.
- Brand Development: Define and communicate the company's brand identity, ensuring consistent branding across all channels and materials. Establish brand guidelines and standards.
- Public Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and stakeholders. Develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance ATLAS's reputation and visibility.
- Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy that includes high-quality, engaging content for various platforms, including websites, social media, blog posts, and press releases.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and online advertising. Monitor performance and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to initiatives that drive the most significant impact.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, public relations, and branding, preferably in the education industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics and marketing technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
