PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Digital Marketing Head will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of the company's marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the Business Head, this person's primary responsibility is to generate revenue and take full ownership of our online presence, offline presence, customer acquisition and retention programs. This individual will bring to the table his/her experience in building and running personalized inbound/outbound marketing campaigns to drive consistent sales revenue growth.
JOB DESCRIPTION :
1. Defining marketing strategy to support the company's growth trajectory.
2. Responsible for developing, executing and delivering the company's digital / online marketing strategy, planning and budget to include online, new media, web and e-commerce to drive the business forwards through key marketing channels.
3. Design, implement and manage online marketing programs focusing on building awareness and customer acquisition.
4. Leverage data and analytics to deliver strong marketing efficiencies and create an advantaged digital marketing effort.
5. Manage SEO and SEM
6. Build and own the brand while generating positive buzz in and around the platform
7. Leverage a "Test & Control" approach to constantly improve program results and increase the impact of marketing on revenue and profitability. Propose new marketing program ideas and then secure support from stakeholders to fund and execute these programs.
8. Be updated with the new trends and processes on marketing and use the same to push the company's marketing agenda
9. Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated revenue targets
10. "Listening" to the trends of the market and directing the market research efforts of the company
11. The incumbent will focus on Increasing life cycle value of customers
12. Identify and automate processes to improve efficiencies. The Head of Digital Marketing will work closely with the Technology team on automating marketing initiatives
13. Use data and reports to make evidence-based marketing decisions. Suggest changes and improvements.
14. Contribute as a member of the leadership team to the business decisions of the company
15. Hire lead, train and mentor a team of marketers and ensure their performance and retention
16. Forecast the demand based on empirical analysis and relay the info to manufacturing team to ensure adequate supply

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Masters in marketing or equivalent. Additional Certifications will be a plus
