Job Synopsis

Designation/ Title: Dairy Marketing Head

Experience : 10-15 years

Location : Uragahalli, Bidadi (Bangalore)

Job Type : Full Time

Education : B.Tech in Dairy Farming/ Technology, MBA in Marketing / Dairy Science

Key Terms : Agriculture, Dairy Husbandry, Animal Sciences, Dairy Science, Livestock Management etc.

Position Purpose :

- The candidate is expected to have hands on experience with respect to milk products, Milk products sales and marketing and product diversification.

- Candidate will be required to oversee the launch of dairy products and set-up the distributor channel along with consistent follow-ups and resourcefulness in order to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and general computer skills)

- Commendable verbal and written communication skills

Strong Interpersonal skills :

- Ability to manage expectations of both junior and senior management teams

- Self-driven with strong organizational and management skills

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Marketing experience through retail and in depth knowledge of various industry products. Determine conformance with standard dairy regulations.

- Knowledge of animal husbandry required to oversee daily operations with familiarity of new market trends and marketing avenues.

- Conduct assessment of the company and assist the management in making a business plan for dairy processing and marketing.

- Expected to work on innovative products, collaborate with supervisors and co workers to run administrative duties effectively.

- Involvement in training and payroll of personnel, taking care of the production facility and communicate effective ideas.

- Coach, mentor and train/ evaluate staff involved in the production and sales on a continuous basis.

- Should be able to understand and manage his/her unit P&L as well as understand key metrics to evaluate financial performance (budgeting and margins).

- New product development with necessary marketing approach (promotional activity and branding as necessary).

- Undertake market demand analysis, financial analysis and competition in the market for our products, competitor's activity.

- Provide technical and marketing support with regard to production, processing and marketing.
